Literacy Rate

Around 72% of the 15+ male population is literate while only 44.5% of the female population.

Education Programme

The Education program contributes to the Nepal Government’s national education development plan by improving children and adolescent’s access to completion of basic and secondary education. In addition, the program also supports children’s survival, growth, development and learning through Early Childhood Development (ECD); empowers girls through school-based activities; and supports non formal education to provide a second chance learning for out-of school children to acquire basic literacy, numeracy and life skills. The education program also strives to establish school as zones of peace.
